Quality time with the Slant/Feather

I gave this combo a shot over the week. Overall, the results were good. No irritation and a near BBS. Basically, it was similar to a 5 on my fatboy.

One side note, I have really started to like the feather again. This is a great blade that requires solid technique to avoid a slasher movie scene in your bathroom.

The slant/feather, worth a try, but it did not move any mountains for me.

I haven't tried this combo yet. So far my favorite combo is with Merkur blades which I found to be quite surprising since I've hated these blades in every other razor I've loaded them into. Swedish G/Slant combo is rather nice as well.

The feather is great in the slant but you have to really be careful. I cut myself everytime with this combo. Nothing major but it still got me.

The Feather in the Slant is my mainstay. I like Derbys in my Super Speeds and Swedes in my Aristocrats. I get a weeper now and then with the Feather and an occasionally remove a high spot but more often then not bbs and no blood.

Of course my cuts were probably because of poor technique. I have only been shaving DE for 6 months or so.
