Lamy Body Pilot Metro Nib mod anyone?

Is a Lamy Safari with a Pilot Metro nib modification possible?

Why? I like Lamy’s ergonomics and Pilot’s fine nib.

I hate to rain on your parade, but I don't think it would work. Lamy nibs and feeds are shaped very differently than Pilots'. They fit differently too. I suggest ordering an EF Lamy nib from fpnibs.com and have him grind it down to XXF or XXXF if the EF isn't fine enough for you. You do the same from a US-based nibmeister, but fpnibs is Spain is so much less expense and does great work. Happy customer here.

Look around for the Jinhao T1 Safari knockoff, it takes a regular round style nib.

Plus they're only a few bucks.
