I thought I'd post my latest baby. This was my first attempt at working with micarta, ivory paper to be exact. Sure, you CAN use wood working tools with this stuff, bit I discovered just how hard epoxy can be!
I could tell when I got it that the tang had originally been covered in gold wash. I found a music store (of all places) that would wash it for me for a reasonlabe price. I know it won't last...but the pics will.
