I have just purchased a Fortis Cosmonautis Official Cosmonauts 647.10.11 M. This range of Fortis watches is called Official Cosmonauts, since it meets the requirements of the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Centre in Star City.

It's a stunning watch in the flesh, well made, understated and for me not too big.

Very classy and striking look. Yes understated and classic yet not looking like its trying to emulate something else either. Is it 42mm or larger?

It's 42mm but seems larger than my Vostok Komandirskie K39 that is 47mm..... more glass on the Fortis.

It's as you say understated and the quality is first class
