Zippo Hand Warmer

Howdy all,

It's that time of year again when the weather gets cold and the hands start to freeze.

As the title goes I'm interested in the zippo hand warmers. Has anyone used them? How would you rate the compared to the dime a dozen ones you buy from any outdoor sporting store?

Looking forward to hearing what you all have to say.

Had a very old one in the house when I was a kid. I think the little chemical packets are more effective and easier to place. I'd go with those.

I agree with TimmyBoston. We had some when I was a kid and the chemical packets are a lot easier to use and more effective.

My brother has two of these that are made by a different company but work exactly the same.
He thinks they are a pain to use. In fact, I don't think he uses them anymore.

My advice is to go with heat-in-a-click.
They are reusable. I have one and it stays warm for quite a while.
Not as long as the zippo, but easy and no mess involved.

I used a zippo for years with no problems but they can be temperamental at times.
