Hello,
I'm aware that this forum is not dedicated to daggers as such, although you all seem to know a lot about restoring and maintain a blade, so I thought I'd ask you . I'm in the process of obtaining some WW2 daggers, all of which are in fairly bad condition (which some collectors prefer, although it's simply not for me), and I was wondering, based on the pictures I provide, the most suitable way for me to restore them to their past glory. If I'd be unable to restore them, then I may not buy them.
The first dagger is supposed to look like: http://www.ww2-collectibles.com/engine/inspect.asp?Item=38&Filter=Archive
The second dagger is supposed to look like: http://www.svmilitaria.com/images/111153aa.JPG
Thanks a lot,
Jamie
