The hopeless restoration part 1 and 2

Ok, I posted a thread asking for advice as to whether or not I could salvage this blade.
I took it to the Coticule and with a bit of luck got the edge level.
I'm sending it out to Tom to hone today as I lack the necessary skills to do it.
I will let you know how he makes out with it.
FYI, I didn't want to ruin my coticule so I used the slurry stone to level it.
A coticule can do it all if you know how to use it. Sadly, I don't.

If it can be honed shave with it for a while to check that the temper is still ok. I'm a bit worried that the power tool that munched it up might also have made it hot.

I've been thinking of this too.
We shall see what comes of it.
