Strange New

I picked this up on ebay, the seller says:
Gillette stamped into top plate. Has date code C-4, 1957 Tech. Razor is in very good condition. Code markings are very easily read:

I think it might be a made in England 1932 New

Looks like a cheap travel razor to me. I have a few like that, but none stamped with "Gillette" or date codes.

First of all, it is not a NEW. The NEW has a positioning bar as opposed to the positioning pegs. The head is more reminiscent of a New Improved, but lacks the usual markings. My guess it is a generic head on that Tech travel razor handle. See the Three Piece Gillette thread in my signature for more info.
