Did some rust removal on one my straights that is worst afflicted. Used a Dremel with a wire brush and polish wheel. Then wiped of the polish and oiled them as @mr_houston suggested.

Next straight razor. This blade is in the best condition. Just did a light polish to get staining and surface rust off before oiling.

Got some 30ml glass jars for soap. Fits better in my cupboard than the whole soap containers.

The Sharpal 162N 8x3" was a disappointment. Convex on one side and concave on the other.
Bought Sharpal's 10x4" flattening stone instead which is completely flat. Used my extremely hard Spyderco bench stones to break it in. Now got almost all stones I need to start restoring & honing the edges. Just need one for reprofiling and I'm good. Also got six pairs of scales and some extra washers.
All the razors are prepped and ready for peening. Just need pickup drill bits at the post office.
Got a real straight edge instead of hoping my aluminium ruler good enough.
