Razor : Razorock Game changer.84- Excellent tame mid range, solid made of 316 stainless steel, clamps blade solid and I like to use a Kai extra wide blade in this razor to bring it up a notch to my liking. A joy to use this razor this morning with my modified Gem Micromatic handle.
Blade : Kai SS (5) sharp & smoooth +excellent longevity, extra wide by 9/1000" or .0045 of inch per side. I will always have a few tucks around the den.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum with sandalwood- nice scent with some clove with excellent lather protection.
Brush : Yaqi Tail coat synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips with a great splay scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual beard cleanse +Ogallala Bayrum with sandal wood with a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS extra wide blade.

A superb shave.
Being a lover of "the burn" I invested in some Pashana HAIR AND SCALP TONIC as used and recommended by Richard (@EclipseRedRing) as ASL! Based on just the one use, I like the scent a little bit more than my beloved Clubman VIBR. "The burn" was only a tad hotter than VIBR... so basically not that much of a burn at all (to my "gimme that burn" skin).

Nonetheless I'll keep using it for a while to see if it will continue to outperform my VIBR; my face and neck certainly feel good (now two hours post shave). Thank you for the (apparently not so crazy) idea, Richard. The price is right too.

Pretty strongly scented as most If not all of Jose's offerings.

Lots of Arko I see, and I tried it for the first time today too. I tried a new blade too so for my razor I just used my Merkur 34C.

So I'm still new to straight razors, previously came from cheapo disposables. But I'm diving in, just acquired a couple of jnats and a cheapo usb microscope, should be getting some nice sharp and smooth edges soon!

New stuff: brand new Elite Razor lapis lazuli brush, just retrieved from the mailbox this morning. Razor is a Koraat 14 2.0, not my newest acquisition but the only razor I've bought new. Not pictured are La Père Lucien Oud Neroli soap and Soap Commander Endurance splash, both my newest software acquisitions. I didn't even plan it that way, just worked out I guess.
