Description: I went back to one of my earliest combinations today by combining the eShave lavender shaving cream with the eShave after shave. It is a combination I've used many times before and one I'm likely to use again. Although I've developed a fondness for soaps, I do still like occasionally using a cream and I like this particular one.

I decided at the onset of this shave that I wanted smooth and that I was willing to work for it. I had a ton of lather on my brush and figured that I'd keep going until one of three things happened:

1. I irritated my face to the point I had to stop
2. I ran out of lather
3. I had a face I deemed acceptably smooth

I have a couple of nagging places on my face, mostly the low neck line and then just under my chin to the left and right. I'm proud to say that both areas are nice and smooth. However, it wasn't without irritation, or at least a little irritation. The lavender after shave seems to highlight all the little spots that I got just a little too close. Anyway, my face stung a little when I applied it, but already my face feels nice.

As for the razor, it's growing on me. I'm not sure whether it'll make the rotation (currently a rotation of two) or it'll move on to someone else, but it's definitely a nice razor.
