We've been snowed in for two days and I didn't shave yesterday. We got 4 inches of snow and here in Tennessee that's the equivalent of over a foot in the North. I gave my Dirtybird Brush Scuttle a run after a long lay off. It didn't do much for me. Maybe it will end up on BST. Stay tuned!

Friday's shave

Genco 6/8" restored from a pretty nasty chip + rust (a little over 4/8" now). Yes that's pitting I haven't bothered removing on the blade. It's not very deep and doesn't bother me.

Saturday 30-01-10.

Soap from Alepo in the shower - Semogue 2000 bristle brush- EJagger DE89L - 7 O'clock yellow #1 - Pre Proraso - Wilkinson stick - Alum block - ASB 444 + ASL Brummel.

The Wilkinson stick produce a first quality leather, very creamy and good worker; I like the blue color too. The ASL Brummel is my favorite spanish cheap after shave, I like it more than Floïd and La Toja because has very good soothing effect.

Gillette Tech / Red Pack Pesonna (day 3) / Semogue 1305 / Cade SS / Thayer's / Aqua Velva Original Sport AS / Nivea ASB / AV for cologne.

I think the Semogue is starting to come into its own: the Cade whipped up into a great, slick lather - easily enough for 4 passes.

Terrific shave today.
