Welcome to SOTD! Nice shot today. How do you like the Ivy Club Old Spice? I've read some good coments on it.

I didn't get a great lather out of it, however I think I just need more practice. The scent was fantastic. Light from the soap, and the AS gave that lovely light burn and my wife seems ot be enjoying the scent as well.

For anyone who's leary of the Ivy Club, my Father who grew up shaving with Old Spice gave it one sniff and pronounced "Yep, that's Old Spice."

Side note: Dollar General charged me $3.33 for the Ivy Club OS, and Brut knock-offs together. YMMV due to local taxes and availability.

what are your thoughts on the I Coloniali Shave soap?

It's my best non-tallow-soap - without doubt.
- very hard structure (needs a lot of brush-action to rip of enough soap)
- (for me) a fantastic scent like a combination of incense, mhyrre and cream-powder (gucci homme type) and
- perfect leather

After a week of horrible shaves with my straight due to it not being sharp enough and I was still trying to shave because I was stubborn, I decided to use the trusty superspeed. Good shave, but a little upset about my straight razor not working and the cost with sending it out since I supposedly bought it shave ready.

It is. I had a very nice shave with it today. With its weight, it seemed to cut through the whiskers a little better than some of my full-hollows.
