The black background bizniz is really getting to me. I may be imitating waxwing23's photo of the other day, but it really is just me flattering him. Shiny black backgrounds are cool, but his are REALLY cool:

Oh yeah: the Plisson is rapidly becoming my absolutely favorite brush. The wet animal smell is just about gone, it lathers like a monster, and it applies that lather quite generously. I haven't tried it with Kent/Mitchell's Wool Fat yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll have the MWF its ***** in nothing flat.

Thank you, Vasco! Thank YOU, Jon!! The Plisson is definitely improving with use and/or I'm figuring it out -- probably a little of both. (I've caught it a few times hanging around the Monsavon and CADE soaps. They were speaking French, so I couldn't understand what they were saying. Needless to say, I'm keeping my eye on them. )

And yes, I am enjoying the new camera very much.
