Monday Morning MicroMatic Mania

To me the Bullet Tip is a Mild Razor. Paired with the fresh TREET Blade it performed well.
Of course, SV slickness is legendary and that also helped.

ASRazor shave , Monday, Dec4th 2023

Razor : Star bar #4 lather catcher- Mfg 1919-20, tame mid range. Over 100 years later the this little lather catcher is performing like a champ. It works the best with a fresh blade on 1-3 uses I have experienced and I enjoy it very much. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) very sharp, excellent longevity, smoooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice vanilla scent with light tobacco + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Mocha express" 26mm 2band badger, Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Bought this one sale 2 + years ago on a bargain sale. At the time no one seemed that interested in badger brushes IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Star bar #4 lather catcher with a fresh Gem coated blade.

This morning started very hot, it looks like the next few days will be inclement. This week’s SOTD theme is perfect: Mike’s Lime and Pinaud Citrus Musk! In honor of this great celebration that is DecemBOAR 2023 I used my Omega Jade which, after a long time at rest, spent the night soaking to return to action in perfect conditions. And finishing off the wonderful Gillette Silver Blue I Love You!, I say goodbye to the GSB (5) that I used this week. Thank you very much, @Alum Ladd for this sensational initiative and for hosting this event.

What a great shave this was, great soap with a very good conditioning aftershave and aftershave balm. Shaved at 11am this morning and just before midnight when I got home from work, the skin still felt very smooth and cared for.

The Swedish Matador is an extremely comfortable but very efficient razor. Together with the Derby Concord really a golden combo. Glad to have this one in the collection.

The Semogue is already starting to get pretty soft, great brush.
