| Comments | This is the fifth shave with my Timeless SS SB.68 loaded and a Kai blade. The shave was excellent. I had vowed not to buy more blades since I have so many, but I may have to buy a few more Kai blades. Paladin brushes all perform wonderfully and this PK 47 – my first Paladin - also performed flawlessly. A nice, slick lather. This is the 6th consecutive day I am using Williams soapA great shave. Hello friends
Saturday dawned rainy. In honor of this week's SOTD theme, I chose a very appropriate soap: Stirling Bay Rum and traveled to the Virgin Islands. On this incredible trip I took my little friend, Il Piccolo, who combined wonderfully with Silver Star (2). As I had read here that SS goes very well with Fatip, I decided to try it. And I can say without fear of making a mistake that it was the blade that suited him best. With us, in this incredible DecemBOAR 2023, the classic Semogue 1305. And to finish, none other than Pinaud VIBR.

Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 with a Razorock Radio knob handle- Mfg 2018>, tame mid range. Machining and finish is very accurate QC. My 2nd SS steel razor and was wanting a little more blade feel so I came across Kai SS blade that is extra wide and gives the razor a nice boost in efficiency IMO. Very affordable still and works well with the right blade. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(1) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : TOBS Herbal sandalwood cream- nice scented soap, 7-8/10 scent strength.
Brush : Yaqi "Orbital ring" 24mm boar bristle. Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle tips, nice splay scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard soap residual cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum and sandalwood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper sandalwood skin food.
Results :
or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=
Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS extra wide blade.

Tried a Personna Injector blade this time around and I had it a bit too aggressive. Good blade but in this non-adjustable Empire it needed to be back a bit more. I powered through about a pass and some clean up and that's all it took for a very close shave, and also a few weepers and a bit of neck irritation. What we don't do for Science. LOL On a more positive note, I think we have a winner in this blade !!
