I set my adjustable at its highest setting which is almost at an 8. It was a close shave and I got a couple nicks on my neck where I didn't use a light enough touch. Other than that it went well.

Did a full 3 pass shave to enjoy the shave more. Surprisingly, it wasn't quite as close as my normal 2 pass shave.

My top soap. Love the scent. Good performance too. Creamy ans slick.
2nd shave with this SE razor & blade. Was careful with the angle. Generally smooth. Abit tricky on the neck going atg. 1 weeper as a result which disappear after rinsing. Managed and enjoyed a 3+1pass. Result was a satisfactory DFS++. Post and aftershave was excellent... cavendish splash is heavenly. Rating 9/10

The Nivea provides awesome residual slickness. Leveraged that during my touch up passes and ended up with a super smooth shave.

SEptember almost over. Need to pick out my rotation for OCtober.

25th shave of SEptember- nice, close two-pass DFS+ shave.

Razor: MM Flying Wing w/guiding eye
Blade: Gem SS (4)
Soap: Arko stick, always lather left after a two-pass shave
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 1 in best
AS: CVS brand old spice knock off, nice light burn with a very quickly fading scent. I like the anchor impression on the plastic bottle. Since I found this in the closet, there's no telling how old this AS might be.

I'm visiting my aged Mom for a while, so I'll be using pretty much the same set up for as long as I'm here. I brought one razor, one soap, and one brush. I will pick up some different aftershave when I get to a drug store, even if it is only original Old Spice. With luck, I'll find some Pinaud offerings.

The MMOC is simply awesome with multiple days growth, and super comfortable doing it. Haven't been shaving on weekends, and utilizing one of the GEMs on Monday, not that the OneBlade or Schick wouldn't handle it.

Schick Twin is hanging in there. Typical of injector blades for me though. But I get bored after 6-7 days and switch them out anyway. It is beginning to fade a little, so we’ll see how tomorrow goes. It’ll be my last SE shave. I started the month with a slant and want to finish that way on Wed ...... but with an OC to flow into OCtober.

The Twin made it a week ..... and I’m totally bored with it. I do like to test blades a few times and then settle into just using them when they are performing well. Why push beyond the sweet spot?

Anyway - been fun doing the SE thing over here. Gonna switch back to a slant for tomorrow. Started the month way back when with a slant ..... so thinking bookends are nice.

And then on to the open comb collection.
