Simpsons shaving brushes, are they really worth it.??

I think no brush is really "worth it" expect perhaps from ultra cheap Italian Omega boars or some synthetic stuff coming out of China.

Still, as with other stuff I like, I am willing to overpay to a certain degree.

Badger probably are overpriced for the most par. Omega has cheap decent boars. Boar feels to me like wet noodles compared to badger.

My favorite badger is from VP Leonhardy, second would be a Dovo I have, third a floppy Kent and then fourth would be Simpson. None were cheap, but it's what you do if you want a decent badger brush you don't have to spend a month washing out the remnants of the scent glands from (Mocha Express, I'm looking at you. The definition of express "To squeeze or press out, as juice from an orange." was the fitting one for the Mocha Express brush - due to owners having to express the funk juice out because they chose to save some $$$)
