I found a picture of my wife's cruiser that I built for her. Old hidden file I just stumbled upon. Can't remember the brand or model, but it is a striking machine - considering the whole thing was covered in paint when I got it! Rims, crank, everything!

I never saw a swing cover on a zerk fitting before. How does that possibly work?
Yes, original handle bars.
And the zerk fitting is really an oil port, with the cap just a dust cover. Single speed with coaster brake, bulletproof, simple, durable, foolproof for the Mrs. to ride.

Mine is s Gazelle Tour Populair...
this has been my commuter for the past 4 years.

good eye, look even harder and you can see the rear wheel isn't even secured by any thing! sitting on a nice pair of red chris king ss hubs now. Here'a my ss mtb taken from last winter and set up with studded tires. No chain sag here, hell no chain even!Nice!

Yeah, this one got appropriated by the Mrs. as her "walking bottle". I doubt I could pry it away from her. I tried for my apocalypse bike but she didn't budge. lol
My bike. It's a Trek that I took down to the bare aluminum. Also, changed out pretty much every component. Death by a thousand paper cuts.
