- This time a rare gem from Sweden!
- This model is often referred to as the 'Bowling Pin', but I wonder what SWING called their different models back in the day
- The fact that it came in a matching case and it being gold plated makes this an awesome addition to the collection

As Commander Spock would say, "Most interesting..." This puppy is heavy at 144g. Trying to remember why I ordered it... Oh yea, it was this product was advertised to sharpen blades without the need to hone, strop, or grind in a very short amount of time by using the force of the magnets to realign the cutting edge of the blade. Interestingly, the included booklet says to only shave up down and down up, not side to side. Of course I'll have to try and find out why they say that...

Heard some good things about this razor. Came in the mail today but the threads are a little loose. Can’t say my expectations are shattered though.

I came across this local ad. Seller is asking $75. Says it's 6 vintage Gilettes and 1 Probak. Can anyone identify these and let me know if it is a good deal?
Left to Right:
Ball end Tech (looks in excellent shape, 50's - mid 60's)
Flare Tip (good to average shape)
NEW short comb (?) Excellent shape
Old type (average shape)
Flare Tip (average to poor shape)
Old type (?) gold finish (good to excellent shape) I would like to study this one closer.
I'm unfamilar with a Probak. Looks to be in good to great shape.
Can't comment explicitly because of B&B valuation guidelines, but I've seen worse deals, lets just say that.

I thought I was done with more but apparently not…. A fat handle , made in England Tech. In such fine condition, I couldn’t resist its simple charm.

Great looking razor there
Got the Chinese Tech from AliExpress. I'll try it out tomorrow. Of course, the build quality isn't as good as English produced 1970s Techs that had the same head, but it looks okay.
I think you'll find that the build quality is just fine!
It's definitely one of my favorite Techs. Here's mine on its custom Olive Wood handle:
Romer-7 CS11 from India. It's known locally as Muhle R41 clone.
I've been shaving with this model since June 2018, it's great, light and soft.
Mine is like new, when I've finished shaving, I rinse it with hot water, disassemble it and dry it with a towel, I leave it disassembled for the next shaving sometime.
The blade is returned into the packaging for drying.
I hope you'll be happy with this razor
