Still out ...!
In fact, I wasn't "in" for November, as I knew I wanted to make some purchases.
BUT, inspired by the October GRUME, I have been digging deep in my archives, and rediscovered a couple of wonderful items I thought was worth sharing with you, with thanks to the GRUME concept:
BRUSH: MASETO (26/52) Extra Density Silvertip "Memphis" (barber) Handle
SOAP: VELOBRA Patchouli (hard puck)
RAZOR: Razorock LUPO (.72, Stainless Steel)
BLADE: Dorco Titan (2nd)
A/S: Alum block, MYRSOL Metisol
COMMENT:
Truth told, I never got along very well with the Velobra soaps, I find it hard to whip up a decent lather from them. But there is a luxourious air to them all the same that I can't resist.
The Maseto brush is a real gem as far as badgers go, love the barber handle. It's just a little on the big side, these days I favor smaller (boar) brushes, which is why my Masetos got "archived". The novelty here (the reason I am not in the November GRUME), is the Dorco blade .... Yes, I got myself a bunch of new blades that I am trying out in November. Dorco's have been a nice surprise.
