I noticed these cheap plastic clamps at Wal-Mart being sold next to the toothpaste for $2. Got them, came home, slid one on a toothpaste tube and was surprised how well it pushed all the toothpaste up and how flat the used up portion of the tube was. Put another on a halfway used tube of shaving cream and got the same result. I figure it will get a few more shaves out of each tube.

I'm of that inclination, to use every bit of what I've purchased. But I recently realized is that while I'm squeezing out the last drop of cream, I have a full tube of an unused cream drying in the hall closet. I've switched to a use or lose mentality.Lot of Frugal people.
