No 59

Hello ladies and gents!
I just bought a No 59 with a nearly unused Rocket HD weighing in at 71 gram but marked with the early "Patent Pending" Is that possible? No. 59 came in 1956 and would then been marked "Brit. Pat" A mismatch or have we se

en this before? Maybe Gillette had some "older" HD's and put them in 1956's cases?

Those dispensers show up here in Sweden from time to time but prices gone higher last 6 month or so.

Hey Peter,
Gillette were notorious for mixing up older with newer stock. Pretty sure that might be a legit set.

Great razor and very cool score! As others have said, Gillette was notorious for confusing its customers and resellers. They knew how to make razors that lasted for decades!
