My Heritage II has landed. Very pleased with it.

I was going to ask you from looking at your handles if you used Proraso soap but after looking for a moment I noticed the tube in the upper corner!! I stopped using Proraso because of the film it leaves on anything it touches!! Your brushes look like they need a good scrubbing, but at the same time they are a great looking foursome!!

A Style 2 and an L7, both in 22mm Finest. The knots are very comfortable and perform well. I don't love the tortoiseshell resin (seems more faux than tortoiseshell). The Jade style2 is a super comfortable handle (I was concerned about the shape which is not my general aesthetic, but I find it lovely to use and would get another in a heartbeat. Thought I'd try a hybrid to see how I liked it. If I get another one, it will be a bulb.

interested to hear how that soap behaves. Pure EO and sandalwood sounds like a high end combo. Most of them use iso e super.

I had some of this soap from Lee.
and enjoyed it. I tried to buy more, but no luck. BTW, Parker soap looks similar, but it’s not the same.

The star of today's show: Morris & Forndran 26mm Heritage II Blonde Badger in an Antique Ivory & Tortoise Shell L7 handle.

Wasn't that a mouthful? This morning I said I would order the Finest had I to do it again. After today, nuh uh. The substantial backbone makes for a pleasant face lathering experience. I don't know if it is close to DO1 2 band like I thought, but, it is certainly no slouch. This brush will only get better as it breaks in. I think I am going to use it as part of my fixed line up for a while. To think this morning I was considering putting it with the brushes I intend to sell.
