I worry that Madden used up too much bullpen last night, while the Indians have 3 very good, fresh relievers. Going to Chapman last night, made no sense. It was one thing getting that big out in the 7th but leaving him in, what was he thinking?

I watched that and said to myself, "What the hell is wrong with him?"

Hope the game goes 108 innings.

Agreed. I don't know why Madden took his starting pitcher out in the fifth. He is not showing any confidence in his players.

I broke out my 1908 Single Ring for some good mojo for the Cubs. They scored two after that. I can't believe I'm watching a game with my razor.

You have to think Harry Carey's tears and delay helped switch the momentum back to the Cubs after Indians tied it going to the 9th and Madden called the squeeze with one of the best young bats at the plate with only one out. Crazy game! Very entertaining, though if you had a horse in this game, it must have been stressful as all get out. Congratulations Cubs on a great and well deserved win! Congratulations Indians on a fight to the finish and a great season!
