What's the problem officer? Well, when you signaled left, you merged right. Then when you signaled right, you merged left. Seeing as how squirrelly you seemed to be driving, I thought I'd pull you over, and find out just how much Pinaud Clubman Whisky Woods you been drinking.

Well officer, I bathed in it today, I guess my skin absorbed so much of it, it got me drunk. Here, play this instrument, it's a harmonica. Ok that was quite a solo number you played, you achieved a 1.0. Sorry, but that's just criminal, I got to take you in.
Hmmm I am sure that some unfortunate souls has tried to quench their desire for intoxicants by indulging in some after shaves. Just thinking of that one must be pretty desperate. Especially hard to imagine would be to down a bottle of Osage Rub to get a rise. I think it probably would be more painful on the inside than the outside.

I once saw a drifter in Nashville outside a dollar store guzzling mouthwash straight out of the bottle. I was parked in front sitting in my car watching this happen. :yikes:

What a way to achieve a buzz. This was years ago. I wonder if he's still alive?

The Mrs. continues her slow recovery. Apparently, insomnia is a known side effect from the procedure. She finally got some sleep last night, so hopefully this is the start of a good day.

I’ve been shaving exclusively with the RR MJ-90A, Dorco ST301 Stainless, and Arko for over a week now. I’m really starting to dial that combo in. Arko is really a good soap and it seems to no longer be drying my skin as it has adjusted. Also, washing my brush every Sunday with Dawn seems to have halted the spread of the phantom black dots. It looks like it may be from dissolved minerals in the water that the Dawn can wash away before they accumulate too much.

I was working at a the Kia dealership here in town when some ne'er-do-well walks in and goes over to where we have our popcorn machine. He then grabs the squeeze bottle of butter flavoured oil/petroleum by-product, rips off the cap and guzzles the contents. We were stunned and then we leapt into action...by escorting the goof out of the store. Because it occurred to us that in a very few moments this guy was going to have a "Southern eruption/explosion that we DID NOT want happening in the store.

Glad to hear the Missus is recovering, her progress will speed up with a bit of time.

Good news she is on the mend, even if it is slowly, continued prayers for you and your bride.

Some can metabolize limited quantities of methanol quickly enough and it does not kill them. Years of drinking have given them that ability, it's very limited amounts. As Boris mentioned, this is a sad situation and the ones who can do this need many prayers and other help.

The Mrs. was able to sleep last night again, which was good. She still feels tired and sick, but we’re making small progress every day.

My intern called out sick today after working closely with me yesterday. I hope I don’t catch whatever she had, not for my sake, but for the Mrs. And I broke my 172-day Wordle steak this morning. Today isn’t off to the best start.

At least I had a pretty decent shave. The Dorco ST301 Stainless is getting a little old and dull, but the Arko was very luxurious.

More prayers on the way for you and the mrs, my friend.

The current barrage of ads is taking up the entire screen again and has been slipping past my ad blocker, so it may be a few days before I really start posting more here again. The ads need to cycle through to make the site usable again.

Pretty nice shave this morning. Still on the Dorco ST-301 after 5 uses. It definitely is showing some age, but it still is cutting down the whiskers. I may really try to push this one to extinction for BOSC. I have one more in the tuck, which I am committed to finish for uncle @blethenstrom, but then I'll be trying some other blades in my stash.

Have a nice weekend, everyone.
