First Restore. Wostenholm IXL

Howdy Gents,

I just completed my first go at restoring a Wostenholm IXL. This has been one of my favorite razors, and I broke the scales unpinning so I thought it would be the perfect time to try scales! This is my finished product. The scales are wenge with a cocobolo wedge finished with tung oil. Any comments/suggestions are always welcome, if making these things taught me anything, it's that there is a LOT to learn. Undream's videos were a godsend.

Thank you! I really do want to do more, so I am scouring ebay. I have a fairly modest razor collection, and I am hesitant to do anything to their present scales..............It really is fun though!
