Child's Bubble Bath

We currently use some bog-standard bubble bath for our little boy, but I am increasingly concerned about the many potentially harmful chemicals in these things. Please can anyone make suggestions for a healthier alternative. I live in the UK, but am happy to receive advice about any products out there.

I know soap is possibly better, but my wife is convinced it is drying. This is another issue, but I'd rather find a liquid to pour in the bath for convenience if possible.

Mitchells [the wool fat people] do a great bath gel, shower gel and shampoo, and it may also be worth checking out the liquid soaps from aleppo gold. I use the bar version which is a high percentage olive oil and bay oil with no nasties in it.
