Brush Identification (No markings)

I got these along with a Stutz Bearkat shaving mug, and I can't quite figure out what they are, so I wanted to solicit opinions. They do not appear to have been used - the woman I purchased them from said they'd been on a display shelf for years, so all they smell of is patchouli :)

I think the grey handled one is a badger, and the white is probably a boar, but I wouldn't know how to tell the difference between boar and synthetic without breaking out my microscope camera (which I may do).

Do they look familiar to anyone? My initial thought was of an Avon brush or similar, but Avon stamps their name on EVERYTHING, so that went out the window quickly.

I can also pull out my calipers and make measurements if necessary.

Thanks!

Now that I bring up a few images of the Surrey boar brush, I think you're right. It's a Surrey brush. Now to figure out the badger..
Interestingly enough, the plastic Surrey brush knot is much wider and feels denser and more flexible than the VDH wooden handled boar (with chrome ring)
