why is my avatar on this forum showing a double picture?

Mine does that when I post in my own thread. It shows that little pic for any thread I have posted in.

For posterity's sake:
I think what you are seeing is a thread you started and the smaller picture shows that you also posted in that thread.
If you started a thread, shouldn't it be implied that you posted in it?

20/20 hindsight, I should have used replied instead of posted.
