Was going to pick up a can of foam, for travel.

Stores exist to sell stuff in person. And (minimal) shipping costs are usually built right into the price. When selection narrows, it's usually associated with cultural decline, so I get the OP's sadness.

It was in a touristy inner city spot but still quite ok compared to the 4.40 per tube that I pay in Austria.
