3 razors: how clean vintage horn..?

Hi, everyone...

Picked up three old and beautiful razors recently
(for ridiculously low prices - $15 for the W&B chopper)
and would like some advice on how to treat the vintage horn scales...

They are in good shape,
but wondering what would be the best way to clean and polish them...
Should I even sand a bit? Thanks!

Oh, and the scales on the second razor seems a bit different to what I've seen before... Think they could be tortoise?

I'm not an expert with horn, but I have good success in the past with sanding horn and finishing with polishing. I'd stick to higher grit, it doesn't take much to get past the grungy stuff.

Those are beauties, do want! that W&B.

They do look like horn. Sand wet as needed. The dust stinks otherwise.
Later, soak in neatsfoot oil for a week or so which will recondition them.
Nice score.
