BRUSH
orange package: badger
Green package: boar
the boar is rough compared to the badger in the orange set. the best way i can describe the difference between the 2 brushes is that the badger brush feels more like a woman's make up brush, and the boar feels more substantial like a used paint brush that was risned throughly, and re-used for touch ups. its thick and strong.
the blue plastic handle...

Scented with mandarin orange, spicy bergamot and hints of amber and musk, this bar is made for cleaning the face prior to shaving. This glycerin soap contains lime oil to refresh the face, castor oil to soak and soften the whiskers and a trace of alcohol to remove the dirt which restricts razor glide.
I used the following link to purchase the scuttle from Robert, although some have purchased from him through Ebay:
http://www.robertsfeatsofclay.com/cscuttles.html
Robert's customer service is great. He communicates quickly by e-mail, and is a reasonable fellow. Also, he packaged the scuttle well, before shipping it.
This is a good value scuttle that clearly shows good workmanship; handmade and customizable, so each scuttle is unique.
The design is classic, original and...
Soup Crock as Lather Bowl?
For the price, this bowl is pretty dang good. I found it at Cost Plus World Market. Their website only lets you buy a set of four but you can buy just one for just over $5 including tax. It is very sturdy and can even be put into the oven being that it is a coup crock (not sure you would want to but you never know). It keeps lather very warm, but I normally only do 2-3 passes so that’s something to keep in mind. It whips up lather pretty well, but I have not...
I face lather and have found that my DB brush scuttle is just not big enough for even my Simpsons Colonel when it's loaded with lather. I was looking at a few options and ran across this. I got it today and it's exactly what I wanted. My Duke 2 in best fits in it perfectly and it keeps my lather warm for three passes (I'm sure for longer, but I only do three passes). I didn't do the full scientific test to see how much heat retention it kept at 5 minutes and 10 minutes and on, but I know...
Add storage space to your bathroom without taking up any room on the floor with this Fieldcrest wall cabinet. The espresso finish and nickel accents provide a touch of style and elegance.
I've been using my iKon Bulldog handle for my last few shaves and felt it needed to be reviewed.
I received this handle off our B/S/T for $44, shipping included. The handle retails at approximately $55.
The handle has a good heft to it and a solid feel. The handle weight 60 grams. I felt the handle was actually too heavy for me, especially given it's length of 3-1/8 inches. I would prefer if the razor was just a bit longer, 4 inches would be great.
The knurling was deep and...

I was fortunate enough to be one of the lucky recipients in the attached giveaway http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/236184-Free-Nzen-Pottery-Lather-Bowl?highlight= which arrived recently.
The lather bowl is something special. It is a thing of beauty. Looks aren't everything though and I'm glad to say that this bowl performs. Previously I have been using a bowl cast by a family friend who used to do some pottery. The base is 7 cms in diameter and the tall sides slope...
I was watching one of GeoFatboys videos on YouTube, and he mentioned something called the Proraso nick sealer. I didn't know Proraso made something like that. I bought one from his website www.shavenation.com, which by the way seems to be the only place that sells it. It's a small tube that looks like the smaller version of the Proraso shave cream, but it ain't shave cream :001_smile I used it for the first time today, and boy, this stuff really works! I nicked myself, so I took out the nick...
