Collecting wife bonus parts
200 Gillette Nacets. Why? I like them and they’re no longer made at the PPI plant. Supposedly, according to the seller, these were from the “last run.” The date is 25/12/20.
Edit: the last run statement is clearly false or, at minimum, misinformed. I looked at other tucks I have and they are from 2021. No worries, though, I didn’t buy them based on that claim. Just letting other potential buyers know.

I almost bought 100 recently, but I bought 400 Perma-sharps at $8.91 per 100.
I have a couple tucks of SilverStars. I used one of the blades in a flare tip SuperSpeed a couple days ago. Almost any blade is fine in that SuperSpeed… but that SilverStar was terrible.
With the accuforge thing happening figure I would get some of these while they were cheap

Make sure you check to ensure they’re not “Platinum Chrome” blades…. I’ve had several that were repackaged into the USA boxesWith the accuforge thing happening figure I would get some of these while they were cheap

Silver Star blades have a permanent place in my den. I get superb shaves from them.
YMMV.
Just like most other blades I've tried and used they can be razor dependent. Silver Stars worked great in my Ti Timeless but not the same for my Ti Blackbird...
Looked at my old spreadsheet when I was doing ratings on a sample pack I had picked up. These kept rating a 10 and I just got 100 for $8.50 at Amazon (shipped free without prime!)
Anyone bought Silver Blues from this seller/amazon.
They’re great in my favorite razors and this seems like a great price if they’re legit.

Ordering in bulk sure saves money, long term, when someone is committed to the AC format. I ordered some Kai Titan Mild "Pinks" just last month that way.

Just bought 100 BIC for a good price. Did it because it was a good price.
Ordered 300 Nacets from a Jordanian eBay seller yesterday.
Assuming they arrive here without much fuss, this concludes my journey to stock up on different blades that I like, and which are in danger of disappearing or moving production elsewhere and drastically changing.
About the only blade that I really like but don’t keep in stock is Bic Chrome Platinum, but I may fix that glaring error at some point…

So it is still luck of the draw whether you get Russian or Indian Astra SPs when you buy from an AMZ Marketplace seller. I got Russians this time.
