The Swedish Swing DE razor is another excellent vintage razor that keeps pace with contemporary DE razors like the R41. Efficient, smooth, medium nimble & maneuverable, medium predictable. An effective razor that provides outstanding results.

This week's Supporting Cast includes a bunch of my favorite stuff: The wonderful Rudy Vey Zebra Stripe D01 3-Band brush, Captain's Choice Copper Bowl, Canada shave soap (an outstanding unscented soap), and one of my favorite aftershaves - Clubman Pinaud Lilac Vegetal. Rocking the Veg!

To me, the GEM Featherweight Deluxe is the Gillette Tech of the GEM world. Mild/Medium efficient. Really smooth. Not the most nimble & maneuverable razor out there - but not bad, and very predictable. Effective, and a pleasure to use.

Been a horribly hectic week. Have not had time to get caught up on posting my shaves. This will probably be my shave posting process for the next six weeks or so.

The Gillette Aristocrat Adjustable is a wonderful vintage adjustable razor. I can use it throughout the 1 to 9 range of settings - just depends on what combination of efficient, smooth and nimble & maneuverable appeals to me that day. The 5 setting provides a solid CCS with two passes.

This week's Supporting Cast is made up of great performers that don't get used as much as they deserve.

The AP Shave Co White G5C Is comfortable to use and builds great lathers. A wonderful brush!

Haslinger Schafmilch soap feels great and produces a slick, protective lather.

RazoRock The Stallion Aftershave has a wonderful Oud scent. Very nice face feel.

We had a setback a couple of weeks ago. She had to go back in the hospital for emergency surgery to re-open and clean up one of the incisions. Now on 6 weeks of IV antibiotics and 3 trips each week to the wound center.

Our faith gives us strength.
