Finally took the hateful rust off of this one. I think I have a basic idea of who mad emy wedge for J. Drew now because they are almost identical tang length aside.

It had a really annoying fizz of rust all over the entire thing but it was shallow so it was easy to cope with. It just took a sheet of 1000 that I cut into a grid of ice cube sized pieces and by the time I got to the end of them, I went over it with a shot piece of 1k followed by polish. Only other thing it needed was pins tightened. Such a nice blade.
