It has been a bad day!!! Has anyone replaced their fill mechanism? Mine snapped while I was filling it. Also will the brass mechanism from the M800 work in the M600? Thanks in advance!!!

That’s too bad to hear. No, the piston assemblies are not interchangeable. The M800 and M1000 models have a screw in type brass piston assembly. The M600 and below models have piston assemblies that are friction fit. How did this happen?
Pelikan are generally very good at fixing their pens. Send it to them and they'll likely repair it at little or no cost.
They don't come out easily on the M600 ... and then you need the parts. What broke? I've only seen a snapped spindle.
USA Pelikan repair (Chartpak) won't fix it unless you can show you bought it from a legit dealer.

I was filling it and it felt a small binding and then it snapped. The shaft surrounding the spindle shattered!
