Old Razor part 2

Hi,
I wasn't able to add more photos to my recent thread (Old Razor).
So I posted the asked for pics here.
The blade is very thick and heavy. Its a wedge, and its close to 1/4 inch thick at the spine.
It has some engraving on the blade that will require cleaning before it can be read.
Do you think this blade is as early as the 1830s?

Lummus says 1840.

Thanks to Larry at Whippeddog I shaved with a Wostenholm with this blade shape and found it shaves like any other wedge of that period.
