Can’t you put a spritz of the EDT on a neutral balm to stick with the original?

I wondered, too. I'll go and google that, in particular if there are neutral balms that are ok on your face.
I’m absolutely no balm guy as I like the alcohol sting but I guess this one would fit:

Sir Patricks, indeed, Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet aftershave is one of my favorites.
It enjoys an exclusive aftershave space on my bathroom vanity!
Alas, my original bottle from 10 years ago (first pic) is now almost depleted!
Fortunately, I was able to grab a replacement a few years ago, which is kept in safe place!
If disaster strikes, Pen's is still making the EDT, which can be a substitute!
