First Restore/rescale Wade Butcher

Hey guys, There have been so many awesome restores on B&B that I thought I would give it a try. I learned alot about the process and I am getting better. I picked up this old wade and butcher of ebay for 9 bucks. It still has a little patina and very minor pitting, but all in all I thought it turned out ok. The scales are made out of burlap and envirotex lite. Comments and tips welcome!

I don't know yet. I just pinned and polished it an hour ago. I haven't had a chance to hone and strop it yet but THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING ME! I can't wait to shave with this one.

Ok, I did a quick hone and strop to test it. Even with my poor honing skills this thing sharpened up quite nice and it shaves very smooth.

Yes I made them myself as this video describes. It was very easy, but it required patience.
