Excellent Madison, WI Shop

Greetings,

I visited an excellent shop that is well stocked with Taylors, C&E, C&M, Woods of Windsor, etc. It is called Patrick’s Look of the Isles and is located in Hilldale Mall. It was nice to be able to smell these fragrances prior to purchasing. This time I didn’t repeat an earlier mistake trying to make a decision in a heavily fragranced room. Instead I placed a bit on each arm and went for a walk – after which I could make a much more accurate evaluation. I don’t get to Madison often so I stocked up. My acquisitions include:

Crabtree and Evelyn’s Sandalwood Aftershave Balm
Crabtree and Evelyn’s Sandalwood Eau de Toilette
Crabtree and Evelyn’s Nomad Aftershave Balm
Crabtree and Evelyn’s Nomad
Woods of Windsor Aftershave
Woods of Windsor Eau de Toilette – very nice. It reminds me of my old “Grey Flannel”
Glockengasse No. 4711 Eau de Cologne (Ron will have to translate the remainder of the label)

I also picked up some Inis Energy of the Sea for the missus.

They also had a Vulfix #38 Super Badger Shaving Brush. It was HUGE! I’m a big guy and it would mop my entire face in one swipe! All in all, it was a very good day.
