41 Ranger Tech

Razor - Flat Bottom Tech
Blade - Gillette Nacet (3)
Brush - Semogue Pegasus C7 Boar
Soap - LEA Classic
After Shave - B&M Passiflora (the never ending bottle)
After Shave Balm - Hada Labo Gokujun Premium
Fragrance - Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum

Much better with Lea Classic the MWF is now relegated to a bath soap.

No shave today, but a few purchases. Two razors for the price of a couple of coffees/beers.

An all brass Star Model 100, in great condition too. This picture is before it was cleaned.

And an all brass English ball end Tech.

From the outside it looks pretty good...

Then I unscrewed the head and saw this!

I've bought a number of 'vintage' razors before but this is the filthiest I have ever come across! I've given it a bit of a scrub since I took the pictures, and the baseplate is almost entirely rust free now. The top cap was proving to be a little more difficult to clean. It's now soaking in WD40, I will let it soak overnight then give it a clean again tomorrow to see if the final bits of grime can be worked free.

Notes:

Summary. An easy shave today with purposely avoiding BBS to give my skin a little rest.

Enjoy your shave.

Razor: Souplex OC England c. Mid 1930's

AS Balm: Nivea Sensitive

Making a late appearance this month is the wonderful Souplex. What more can be said of this supernaturally great razor?

Was very interested to read Richard's @EclipseRedRing 's initial shave comments on obtaining a lovely example, and also hopefully @Phoenixkh finds the magic in his, arriving shortly hopefully.

Clinically efficient yet carefree 3 passer. Just the typical Souplex shave.

A glacial SSF result which should be good for 36 hours without attracting cruel jeers from the well-bred neighbours.

Simon, mine did make it into the States so I should see it sometime next week, would be my guess.
