Today's beans were Bridge City Coffee (Greenville, SC) - El Salvador (natural process).
I used the Wide Awake PH recipes starting with the 2-pour recipe for the first cup and the 3-pour recipe for the second cup.
The first cup I tried a finer grind with the 2-pour recipe but it had an astringent taste to it. I decided to go back to the previous grind setting that I liked for the 2-pour recipe and tried it with the 3-pour recipe. It worked well.
