Today’s shave was all about watching Dad shave on Thanksgiving morning while Mom filled the house with the mouth watering aroma of roasted turkey, stuffing, candied yams, cranberry relish, yeast rolls, and pumpkin pie.

A remarkably surprising BBS shave. That cheap razor is a keeper.

I used my Mom's Dad's 1921 Old Type, which became mine in 1979. It fits the day since we always went to his place for Thanksgiving.

It was a shave of old favorites for me - Merkur Sledgehammer, Omega Pro 48, Cella, and Clubman Classic Vanilla. I smelled better than the apple pie!
