Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/8 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1/8 cup mustard powder
  • 1/8 cup granulated garlic
  • 1/8 cup cherry Jell-O powder
  • 1 tbs. cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbs. coarse ground black pepper

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients and use as a dry run on your pork ribs. Or add about 1/2 cup of water to 2 cups of rub to make a paste.




Use sparingly, this stuff has got some kick. If your beef/pork comes out a bit too spicy, just dab a little bit of BBQ sauce to "cut" the spice. This stuff is great!
