Derby corporation have been manufacturing razor blades in Turkey since at least 1940.[1] In 1987, the Azmüsebat Lighter and Razor Blade Company was established to facilitate the import and export of Turkish-manufactured products. In 1996, they purchased Derby corporation. Derby currently manufactures double-edged razor blades and single-edged razor blades for disposable barber razors; They manufacture one-, two-, and three-blade disposable razors, and two- and three-blade cartridge shaving systems. They also manufacture shaving foam and shaving cream.
