About Me

My Shave History

Began shaving like most men, In my high school days. My parents were seperated and I lived with my mother who took me to the local drug store and let me pick out some gear. Started out with a can of Gillette Goo, and Gillette AS splash, along with a bright red Wilkinson Sword 2 blade cart. Always curious and a love of most things vintage as I got older and entered my college years a tub or proraso green, along with a wilkinson brush entered my shave set up and soon after the real shave company cream followed. Dec 26 2011 made the day I picked up my first DE a Merker HD found at the shopping mall, and marked the first day I did a complete traditional wet shave.

Syngent Comes To Town

February 24 2012 after a few weeks of lurking marked the day "Syngent" was born on Badger and Blade. My first post was my Hall of Fame entry followed by my Newbie Check in. Posting, sharing, reading and learning, came fast and furious and has not let up over my time spent here, from my time in the BOTOC thread where I have met many of my friends here, to the eventual enable into The Nib and Brown Leaf section I can be found all over the forum having fun and helping out where i can.

On February 1st 2013 I was asked to Become part of the B&B Team to serve as a Steward, on the 7th a Badge was added to my name, and finally on the 10th it became official that The NIB would be the area I would watch over. An exciting time, and opportunity to give back to a great community that has given me so much. I look forward to continuing making friends, helping those in need, and having a great time as my story here has only just begun
