Opal

OPAL (pronounced "o-pal"[1]) was a brand of shave products started ca. 1957[2] and active until the 1970s. Adolf Schneider originally called his brand "Pal Shaving Brush" ca. 1948[3], and ca. 1949 Pal Shaving Brush was doing business at 832 Broadway, New York City NY[4]. The name may have been changed to avoid confusion with PAL blades, but the business continued under Schneider at the same address.[5]

Along with brushes, Opal shave sticks have also been reported.
