Creed

Creed was founded in 1760 in London by James Henry Creed.

On September 22, 2009, Creed announced a limited release of "Windsor," a Men's fragrance created in 1936 for The Duke of Windsor, the brother of the English King, George VI. A tribute to the Duke's legendary and very English style, Creed created a fragrance made of ingredients found throughout the British Commonwealth. Top notes include: gin from Britain, Jamaican lime, and Scottish Highland pine. Middle notes are of Duke of Windsor roses and base notes are of Bahamian orange, Canadian cedar, and Australian eucalyptus. A very limited release of only 320 bottles and 70 decanters will be offered in the U.S., arriving in December of 2009.

The same day Creed announced the acquisition of a landmark building on Madison Avenue at 67th Street to serve as the first Creed Boutique in the United States.

Fragrances: Though Creed has over 250 years of recipes and fragrances in their vaults, at any one time Creed offers three specific fragrance collections: Millesime, Eau de Toillette, and the Private Collection. According to Creed "Millesime" denotes the highest quality of all their products, and the highest proportions of natural essences. As a result, all of the Millesime fragrances are Eau de Parfum strength, meaning that they are stronger and longer-lived than Eau de Toillettes. Creed's Private Collection, currently numbering 7 fragrances, is a collection of special fragrances, many of which were originally created for celebrities and royalty in the 1930s and 1940s.
Brought out of the vault for limited runs, these special scents are available in 250, 500, and 1000ml sizes and come in Creed's classic green glass flagons with leather-bound stoppers. Creed also offers leather-covered 50 ml travel atomizers for these scents.

• Bath and Shower Gel: Creed offers bath and shower gels in their Original Vetiver, Virgin Island Water, and Green Irish Tweed fragrances. These gels come in shatterproof 6.8 oz bottles similar to the iconic cologne bottles.
• Deodorant: Creed also offers non-alcohol deodorants in the same fragrances, as well as in the popular Original Santal and Silver Mountain Water scents.
• Body Lotion: The only Men's fragrance available as a body lotion is Virgin Island Water, which is available in a 6.8 oz shatterproof bottle.
• Soaps: Hard bath soaps are offered in the following fragrances: Green Irish Tweed, Himalaya, Original Santal, Original Vetiver, Silver Mountain Water, and Virgin Island Water. These soaps come in 5.2 ounce hand-milled rounds.
