- Originally these blades were made in Italy. In the early 90's, the Italian facility was bought by a German manufacturer (Feintechnik GmbH), and the production equipment was transfered over and integrated in the existing German facility. The new German owners have been actively manufacturing wet shaving equipment since the 1920s. Current Bolzano blade production is German made, and sold mostly in Italy. Feintechnik GmbH also manufactures Croma Diamant DE blades, along with other private label brands.
